Downtown

• Still awaiting blacktop contractor.
• Work in the 1100 block is at a standstill pending arrival of the trench drain.
• Meeting with ComEd on Monday regarding electric meters; hoping to move that portion of the project forward.
• Survey work in the 1200 block will begin Monday to keep crews moving.
• Estimated shipping date for street lighting is now November 21 (moved up from the original December timeline).

Public Works

• Street sweeper used downtown in preparation for Fall Fest.
• All preparations complete for Saturday’s event.
• Sidewalk prep completed at 12th Ave & 6th St.
• Fitness court groundbreaking scheduled for Monday.

Staffing

• First round of interviews completed.
• Second interviews with two candidates scheduled for Monday, 10/6.
